By Monica Wepking, Editor Yankton Sioux Tribe (YST) members who are candidates for office on the General Election ballot, which will be held Sept. 3, 2009, have been sent a survey by the Wagner Post/Lake Andes Wave. The deadline to return the survey is August 21, 2009. Surveys were mailed to individual Post Office boxes or to the Yankton Sioux Tribe at PO Box 248 in Marty. Surveys regarding the candidates for election will be published in the August 26 and Sept. 2, 2009 Wagner Post/Lake Andes Wave. If you are a candidate for YST office and you did not get a survey contact the newspaper at 384-5616.
